Make a face cleanser by mixing one tbsp. of curd and one tsp of lemon juice in a bowl or you can directly squeeze the lemon. You can also add honey instead of lemon if you have dry skin. 2 Masks/Exfoliators

a) For Hyperpigmentation

  • Take a bowl and add a tbsp. of turmeric powder.

  • Apply it on your face and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse it off and pat dry.

b) For Acne Prone Skin

  • Apply it on your face, leave it for 10 to 15 mins. Now, rinse it off and pat dry with a clean towel. 

c) For Dry Skin

  • Take a bowl and add one tbsp. of yogurt.
  • One tsp of honey.
  • One tsp of coconut oil or almond oil.
  • Now, apply it to your face. Leave it for at least 10 to 20 minutes. Wash it off with mild face wash and pat dry.

Over exfoliation is not good especially for sensitive/dry skin. For oily skin, you can apply the mask three days per week. Combination skin and normal skin oily can do this for two, three days a week. When it comes to dry skin, it is advisable that you do it for one to two days per week. Don’t overdo anything.

3 Moisturizer

a) For Dry Skin

b) For Normal Skin

  • Two apples.
  • Four-five tbsp. of rose water.
  • One tsp of olive oil or almond oil.

You need ½ cup each of shea butter and cocoa butter, two tbsp. of olive oil. First, melt the cocoa butter and add other ingredients to it. Mix it well and store it in a refrigerator. It will solidify within an hour. Once it is solidified, you can stir it for the final texture. It would look like butter. Now, you can transfer it to a bottle.

For moisturizing, your hands you can opt for probiotic hand cream, and for lips go for ghee lip balm. Use it regularly for the best results. These are natural products with herbal ingredients so you don’t need to worry.


4 Homemade Sunscreen
After moisturizing, you need to apply sunscreen. Instead of relying on commercial products, you can make a natural sunscreen at home which would protect your skin from harmful rays of the sun.

Ingredients You Need:

  • ¼ cup coconut oil (which has an SPF of 7).
  • 2 or more tbsp. of zinc oxide.
  • ¼ cup aloe vera (the aloe vera should be 50% pure).
  • 25 drops of walnut extract oil for fragrance.
  • One cup Shea butter.

You have to simmer all the ingredients except zinc oxide and aloe vera. Let it cool. Now mix aloe vera to it. When the mixture completely cools down you have to add zinc oxide. Make sure that it is distributed uniformly. For achieving a stickier consistency, you can add some beeswax. Now, transfer it to a jar and let it cool.
