Ashwattha, is the main component in this product, which possesses anti-microbial and wound-healing capabilities. It is used to treat a variety of infections, including ear infections. Q. Do I need to heat the oil before applying ?

But in case if you still like the feeling of warm oil on skin you can heat it in a water-bath (Just keep the lower half of the bottle in warm water).
